VASA Provider: Enabling VASA Provider feature generates "KeyStores with multiple certificates are not supported on the base class" error

Issue

When attempting to enable the VASA Provider feature, you run into the following issues:

  • Toggling the VASA Provider feature appears stuck at the "Completing the request" message:

  • When reviewing the vvolvp.log for VASA Provider the following events are seen:

(ERROR) [] java.lang.IllegalStateException: KeyStores with multiple certificates are not supported on the base class

(ERROR) [cxf-2] java.lang.RuntimeException: vCenter Server operation timed out.
