Issue

Cluster peering can impact the ability to create and enable array pairs in Site Recovery Manager (SRM). Problems related to cluster peering will manifest differently depending on how one tries to enable the array pair.

  •   When attempting to create the array pair from the cluster that has the incorrect peer name, we will be unable to complete the array pair creation:

  • When attempting to create the array pair from the cluster with both correct names, then the creation will complete. However, the enable attempt silently fails, and it cannot be enabled in the manage menu.
