Answer

The Hardware Acceleration functionality is supported by VMWare. This functionality is not managed by, or is dependent on ONTAP Deploy or ONTAP Select NetApp software. If the admin has problems enabling it on Datastores used by ONTAP Select, please file a ticket with VMWare Support.
