ONTAP Select not booting after VMware ESXi upgrade to version 6.5

Issue

  • After performing a VMware vSphere / ESXi upgrade to version 6.5, ONTAP Select VMs fail to boot with the following errors:

Cannot open env/env
env/env is not found. Use env_bak/env instead
Cannot open env_bak/env

VLOADER> boot ontap
can't find 'x86_64/freebsd/image1/kernel
