Issue

  • ONTAP Select instance powered off on its own.
  • When powering back up into maintenance mode, a panic string is reported:
 
Panic String: Spin lock 0xffffffff8152a0a8 (smp rendezvous) held by 0xfffff8001e6f2000 (svc_queue_thread) too long. VM may have been paused. Check VM host logs for an error. in SK process CCMA-Worker on release 9.6P2 (c).
 
  • vCenter reports the following:
 
"file system specific implementation of lookupAndOpen[file] failed. Failed to start the virtual machine. Cannot open the disk '/vmfs/volumes/5aca0tfb-cbf571/SPTCONTAP-02/SPTCONTAP-02_4.vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on. There is not enough space on the file system for the selected operation."
