NFS unreachable after vfiler migration

Issue

  • A vfiler and it's interface was migrated to a different storage controller
  • Some clients are unable to access NFS mounts with a generic 'nfs server not responding error'
  • Ping to the client using the appropriate interface works and the client can ping the NFS server
  • The storage controller messages log as many name server timeouts errors
  • The exports file uses hostnames for client entries
  • All DNS servers are in a down status
