Description

  • When a snapshot copy is in a busy state, there are backing LUNs (LUN clones) and/or snapshot copies that are using data contained in the snapshot copy. In order to delete the busy snapshot copy, you must first delete the backing LUNs and snapshot copies.
  • You use the "lun snap usage" command to identify these backing LUNs and snapshot copies. However, the "lun snap usage" command output can be lengthy and difficult to read, especially when using SnapDrive, which assigns names that are not always intuitive.
