NFS rm fails with directory not empty or no such file or directory

Issue

  • File or directory can not be deleted via NFSv3 with error: No such file or directory.
  • Directory can not be deleted via NFSv3 with error: Directory not empty. 
rm: cannot remove ‘./YY/XXX/.sv/pro-base’: Directory not empty
  • Run strace rm -rf files on the Linux client side and the output contains the 0x80 (octal \0200) error.
