Issue

  • Windows domain user is unable to access the CIFS share under a UNIX volume
  • The UNIX volume has appropriate permissions for the mapped UNIX user
  • The user has a domain group that has enough permission at the CIFS share-level ACLs
  • Security trace shows an error "Access is denied while mapping a share, insufficient share permission."
