Windows error 0x8007054F in Flexcache volume

Issue

  • When copying files from a computer to a Flexcache volume via CIFS, randomly get Windows error 0x8007054F and the file isn't copied.
Error 0x8007054F: An internal error occurred.
  • Based on the traces, it shows that the client is trying to open a non-existent alternate data stream and the Storage Controller returns an Internal Error.
