Acrobat Read on Windows 

  • application DfP-LocalSigner is used to digitally sign documents
  • application reads the document from the cifs share
  • Acrobat Reader is used to sign the document
  • application writes/update the document on/to the cifs share
  • Acrobat Reader will sometimes hang

Windows Explorer on Windows 10 Enterprise 20H2

  • Persistent cifs share
  • Client switches from offline to online mode
  • Windows Explorer hangs or crashes
