Enabling NFSv4 is not inherently disruptive, and has no impact to existing connections of any kind

Additional Information

  • NFS clients will attempt the most recent version of NFS, unless a version is explicitly selected
  • Clients may experience a variety of issues if NFSv4.x is selected and was not configured properly
