With "snapmirror delete" command in ONTAP, snapshot copies of SnapMirror destination are not removed

Issue

  • snapmirror release/delete command is used in ONTAP for SnapMirror deletion.
  • snapmirror release command deletes a snapshot of SnapMirror on a source volume.
  • However, snapmirror delete command does not delete snapshot copies on the destination volume.
