Issue

Used size of qtree level CIFS share shows post-dedup size on windows client even enabling the volume option is-space-enforcement-logical, is-space-reporting-logical.

Example:

  1. Create qtree1 on a volume.
  2. Create quota on qtree without -disk-limit.
  3. Save three same files to qtree1, the total size is 600 MB.
  4. Run deduplication for the volume.
  5. Enable the volume option is-space-enforcement-logical, is-space-reporting-logical.
  6. df -h command shows volume used as 200 MB.
  7. Mount CIFS share of qtree level (path till qtree1).
  8. Properties of this qtree level share should show Used space as pre-dedup size (600 MB), but it shows as post-dedup size (200 MB).

Note: ONTAP 9.9.1 and later shows pre-dedup size normally.
