Issue

  • Upgrade pre-check reports Upgrade is not complete

"Error: Upgrade is not complete on nodes:node A"

Action: To Complete the upgrade, run the advanced privilege command "system node upgrade-revert upgrade on each
node....

  • While performing ONTAP upgrade or image validate command, customer encounter below error:

::*> cluster image validate -version <version to upgrade>

Data ONTAP Version    Error      Error: Upgrade is not complete on nodes:
and Previous Upgrade             ibf-cengr-03, ibf-cengr-04, ibf-cengr-05,
Status                           ibf-cengr-06.
                                 Action: To complete the upgrade, run the
                                 advanced privilege command "system node
                                 upgrade-revert upgrade" on each node.
