Issue

  • Unable to modify the autosize-mode to'grow_shrink' for volume in CLI or System Manager with the following error:

Unable to set volume attribute "autosize-mode" for volume "Vol" on Vserver "SVM". Reason: Configuration is not supported. Snapshots may be unnecessarily deleted with the following configuration: volume automatic resize set to 'grow_shrink' and snapshot automatic delete trigger set to 'snap_reserve' or 'space_reserve'.

  • The Snapshot autodelete trigger setting is "snap_reserve".

  Snapshot autodelete settings: state=on, commitment=try,
                 trigger=snap_reserve,
                 target_free_space=20%,
                 delete_order=oldest_first, defer_delete=user_created,
                prefix=(not specified),
                 destroy_list=none
  Volume autosize settings: mode=off
  Hybrid Cache: Eligibility=read-write
