Unable to add a system to the 7-Mode Transition Tool due to error: Failed to communicate with the host using TLS or SSL protocols

Issue

  • When attempting to add the 7-Mode storage controllers for transition, the following error is displayed even after following the 7-Mode Transition Tool Configuration guide 'Preparing the 7-Mode systems and hosts for transition assessment' section and setting all the required options:

  • In a packet trace, successful Client and Server Hello are exchanged; however, the following errors are displayed:

Alert (Level: Fatal, Description: Certificate Unknown)

Alert (Level: Fatal, Description: Handshake Failure)
