Robocopy writes files to snapshot directory instead of CIFS share gets "Access Denied"

Issue

1) When using ROBOCOPY to copy/move data from a CIFS server there are errors related to "EXTRA" files or folder
*EXTRA Dir -1 M:~snapshothourly.0datadir1
*EXTRA File 31313 file1.dat
*EXTRA Dir -1 M:~snapshothourly.0datadir2
 
2) Robocopy attempts to act on files in the  ~snapshot directory and receives an "Access denied" error.
