ONTAP can't show LUN information and replaced by "N/A"

Issue

The command 'lun show'and System Manager can't display LUN information correctly and replaced by "N/A".

Some other symptoms:

  • A LUN is marked as 'Inaccessible due to restore: true' as seen in the lun show command:
::> lun show -path /vol/<volume>/<lun> -fields restore-inaccessible
 
  • EMS log
[: wafl_exempt08: wafl.access.fenced.file:notice]: The file with inode 96 on volume /vol/<volume>/<lun> cannot be accessed because it is fenced by Dump Restore operation.
 
  • The LUN show incorrect file size in command "run local slist /vol/<volume>/<lun>"
