Description

  • This KB is to be used to help troubleshoot DNS issues when there could be multiple problems on the customer's network.
    • If you cannot do a forward and reverse name lookup chances are there is a DNS issue.
  • DNS is a system which, when not functioning correctly, can cause many issues.
    • Some of these issues include performance, permission denied errors, no route to host or network is down errors, and duplicate IP address errors.
