Clustered Data ONTAP 8.3 and later

Description

  • By default, CLI QOS commands cannot directly check the workload statistics on a specific LUN, only the underlying volume.
  • If you have multiple volumes in one LUN, volume level monitoring will aggregate the workloads into one output, preventing you from seeing workload details on the individual LUNs.
  • We can get around this by adding individual LUNs to their own policy group, then using QOS commands against the policy group.
