Description

This KB will help Performance TSE’s or Customers to see the full volume name while troubleshooting/monitoring Performance issues.

  • qos statistics volume latency/performance/workload show commands is used to see the performance on the volume/workload.
  • However, because of character limitations full volume/workload name does not show up.

In those scenarios run -showallfields command to view the full volume name.

  • One way is to identify the volume ID where high latency/throughput has been observed and then from ASUP in volume.xml section can search with volume/workload ID and then can identify the full volume name based on the volume ID.
  • But this would take time and not in every issues ASUP is available to help as Bank or Other secured Customers may disabled ASUP due to their business requirement.
