Description

Beginning in ONTAP 9.2 inline storage efficiencies are enabled by default for all AFF systems using SSD and NVME drives. Furthermore NetApp provides guidance on how to maximize storage efficiency on All Flash FAS systems running ONTAP 9.x. However FAS models using HDD aggregates or Flash Pool hybrid aggregates, special consideration needs to occur for additional storage efficiency parameters.
