Applies to

  • ONTAP 9.5 and later versions
  • AutoSupport

Description

  • Starting with ONTAP 9.5, the scope of the system node autosupport modify command is cluster-wide
  • Therefore, all AutoSupport configurations are replicated across all nodes in the cluster
  • The same "from" address on all nodes in the cluster might be an unacceptable configuration for your company's SMTP ALLOW list policies

Enhancement BUG: 1254726 - Added capability to configure a unique AutoSupport "from" address on each node

  • To have the capability of configuring a unique AutoSupport "from" address on each node, upgrade to:
    • ONTAP 9.5P10 and later
    • ONTAP 9.6P3 and later
    • ONTAP 9.7 and later
