Description

While performing a data center move involving an IP address change, there is a need to change the IP address of a vFiler DR unit without performing a re-configuration since a new level '0' is not an option.

Caution:
The vFiler DR will be activated as part of the process. It should be isolated from the production network and the source vFiler, or steps should be taken to minimize the impact.
Ensure the vFiler DR does not have the same IP address as the original filer prior to the IP address change - duplicate IP addresses will be on the network at the same time.
Since the vFiler DR will be using the same computer account in Active Directory as the source vFiler, a small race condition may be hit - if the vFiler DR is active and changing computer passwords in AD, clients can lose access to the source vFiler.
