Description

  • If your DP volume has never been in a SnapMirror relationship then it is possibly empty. If you need a RW volume type instead, simply delete and re-create it
  • If your DP volume contains data that you would like to preserve (and allow RW access) then this volume has previously been in a SnapMirror relationship
  • SnapMirror commands control access to data in volumes of DP type, as SnapMirror is responsible for populating data in Data Protection (DP) volumes
