Description

ONTAP software is included with every FAS/AFF/AFA series Controller, but certain ONTAP features must be purchased as an add-on software. When Data ONTAP software is purchased for a Controller, NetApp records the purchase in the form of software entitlement records which are displayed on the Support site. Software Entitlements are also how License Keys are delivered to users; for each software entitlement, there may be a related License Key.
