Answer

ONTAP delete snapshot at the next snapshot creation timing from the oldest.

Additional Information

The following warning message appears when a SnapMirror policy is changed.

Example:
cluster1::> snapmirror policy modify-rule -vserver cluster1  -policy XDPDefault -snapmirror-label 3mins -keep 3
 
Warning: This command will reduce the "-keep" value for rule "3mins" in policy "XDPDefault". This may result in deletion of Snapshot copies for "3mins" in the next SnapMirror update or in the next scheduled Snapshot copy creation on the destination to match the modified "-keep" value.
