ontap-9
Specialty:

Applies to

  • ONTAP 9
  • CIFS
  • NFS
  • ActiveIQ Unitified Manager

Issue

  • High latency is observed from ActiveIQ Unitified Manager or qos statistics volume performance show
  • But running qos statistics volume latency show does not indicate a delay.
  • Both the clients and ONTAP report a high latency despite no obvious CPU or disk bottlenecks.

Example:

nas-cm95::> qos statistics volume performance show

  • There may be no delay centers showing any significant latency from qos statistics volume latency show, but client side reports high latency.
