  • Adapter Card missing after ONTAP update

Before Upgrade/reboot/firmware update:

Cluster1::> system node run -node <node> -command sysconfig -ac
sysconfig: slot 1 OK: X2071A: 4x12Gb miniSAS HD HBA
sysconfig: slot 3 OK: X3311A: M.2 1TB NVMe Drive
sysconfig: No shelf configuration errors detected.
sysconfig: There are no configuration errors.

Post ONTAP Upgrade/reboot/firmware update:

Cluster1::> system node run -node <node> -command sysconfig -ac
sysconfig: slot 1 OK: X2071A: 4x12Gb miniSAS HD HBA
sysconfig: No shelf configuration errors detected.
sysconfig: There are no configuration errors.

  • Flash Cache Card reseat does not fix the issue
