Issue

  • When attempting to create NTFS ACLs through 'RMB' Security, a timeout and an error message stating "Cannot determine whether the computer is part of a domain" is displayed.
  • When using a Windows client to set NTFS ACLs, the following error is displayed:

The program cannot open the required dialog box because it cannot determine whether the computer named "host's FQDN" is joined to a domain. Close this message. and try again.

  • On the storage system, a timeout to LDAP is seen:

::> event log show -messagename *ldap*
