Issue

  • EMS records exist and they aren't suppressed, but EMS notifications aren't created sometimes.
  • Events do not occur continuously in a short period of time.
  • For events that do not generate notifications, 'duplicate trap' events are logged in 'mgwd.log'.

Example:

TrapGenerator: SNMP sub-system generated a duplicate trap. Event Seq # = XXXXXXX
