  • Volume has been deleted in ONTAP
    • ::> volume show -vserver svm -fields volume,security-style,junction-path,junction-parent
          vserver       volume            security-style junction-path junction-parent

          svm           svm_root          unix           /             -
          svm           nfs_vol           unix           /nfs_vol     svm_root
    • ::> volume delete -vserver svm -volume nfs-vol
    • ::> volume show -vserver svm -fields volume,security-style,junction-path,junction-parent
          vserver       volume            security-style junction-path junction-parent
          ------------- ----------------- -------------- ------------- ---------------
          svm           svm_root          unix           /             -
  • Deleted volume can be mounted on a specific path by client
    • # mount svm:/vol/nfs_vol /tmp/nfs_volume
    • # df -h
        Filesystem       Size  Used Avail   Use%  Mounted on
        svm:/vol/nfs_vol  10G    9G    1G    90%  /tmp/nfs_volume
