Issue

  • During a Cloud Volumes ONTAP upgrade, the following is observed on the node in takeover during boot:

Reservation conflict found on this node's disks!

Press Ctrl-C for Maintenance menu to release disks.

  • The surviving node will show that the RDMA connection is in a 'down' state.

             IC RDMA Connection: down
  • From the up node, run interconnect status show in priv advanced mode ( set -privilege advanced ) to see if RDMA is in state down.
