Issue

  • CIFS access slow after upgrading or migrating McAfee vScan to ENSSP 2.0
  • EMS logs show unauthorized access from the vScan server
    • kernel: Nblade.vscanBadUserPrivAccess:error]: For Vserver "vserver", 
      the attempt to connect to the privileged ONTAP_ADMIN$ share by the client "1.2.3.4" is rejected because its logged-in user is not configured in any of the Vserver active scanner pools.
  • In packet trace, will show machine account of local machine in the session setup
    • If the session remains open long enough, it may be visible via cifs session show
