Cannot create local user for application after AD migration

Issue

  • After quitting from existing domain then join in a new domain,  the local user created previously for the application is missing. 
  • But once attempting to create the missing local user, it returns following error:

Cannot create local user "XXX", Reason: The specified name already exists.
