CIFS shares become inaccessible after cluster admin account password is changed

Issue

  • CIFS shares are inaccessible after the "admin" account password for the Admin SVM is changed. 
  • EMS logs shows "Nblade.vscanNoScannerConn" errors :

Mon Mar 15 10:39:52  0800 [cluster-01: nblade2: Nblade.vscanNoScannerConn:EMERGENCY]: Vserver "svm1" has no virus scanner connection.
Mon Mar 15 10:49:59  0800 [cluster-01: nblade2: ems.engine.suppressed:debug]: Event 'Nblade.vscanNoScannerConn' suppressed 217 times in last 405 seconds.

  • Apache logs show that the password sent by ONTAP AVC using ONTAPI is not matching with the password set.
