Issue

  • An active  CIFS auditing enabled configuration created an MDV_AUD staging  volume in a new aggregate.
  • The volume seems fine but is filling up and not clearing out as it should by the consolidation process
  • The consolidation log doesn't show any errors related to the said volume.
  • The volume is 97% full and not auto-growing as it should in the ONTAP version ( 9.7)
