Description

When logging into ONTAP System Manager, you will receive a notification informing you of the Automatic Firmware Update feature and you will be asked you to enable it. The Automatic Update feature for firmware allows ONTAP to automatically download and install recommended firmware updates provided by NetApp.

The Automatic Update feature requires AutoSupport connectivity over HTTPS. To troubleshoot connectivity problems, see Troubleshoot AutoSupport message delivery over HTTP or HTTPS.
