Answer

No, Hybrid ( FlashPool ) aggregates are not supported for FabricPool.

  • FabricPool is only supported on all SSD or all HDD aggregates.

 

Following error message will be reported when attempting to convert a Hybrid aggregate to FabricPool:

cluster01::*> storage aggregate object-store attach -aggregate hya_aggr -object-store-name my-store-1

Warning: Once an aggregate becomes a FabricPool, there is no way to reverse the
process and make it a non-FabricPool. Do you want to continue?

Error: command failed: Cannot attach object store to hybrid-enabled aggregates.
