ASUP E-mail delivery fails due to incorrect source IP used to contact Mailserver

Issue

  • ASUP transmission to e-mail address fails with SMTP with reason: Failed sending data to the peer
  • SMPT server returning message 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay
  • Nodes are connecting to the correct mailserver IP, however using wrong source IPs - The Node Management IP is not the IP used to contact mailserver
  • Notifyd.log shows:
