Issue

  • 7MTT MetroCluter Precheck fails with error 88020:

Failed to check whether the target cluster is part of MetroCluster configuration because 7-Mode Transition Tool failed to retrieve the storage system information from the target cluster. Rerun the operation. If issue persists, contact technical support.

  • Error code 16035 is also seen under "Failure Details" section:

The admin password is not set. Use the "security login password" command to set the password, then try the command again.
