7MTT: How to resolve TLS or SSL communication issue

Issue

  • 7MTT reports the following error message while communicating with 7-Mode Storage System or clustered Data ONTAP:

Failed to communicate with the storage system using TLS or SSL protocols

  • 7MTT fails to add 7-Mode system due to an error below:

Failed to communicate with the system 192.168.xx.xx,reason:Host'192.168.xx.xx' is not reachable.

  • Packe trace log collected from  7-Mode system indicates that TCP connection finished due to SSLv3 Handshake Failure.

NOTE192.168.11.11 is IP of 7-Mode and 192.168.22.22 is IP of 7MTT's host OS.
