“Permission denied” is reported during copy file with “cp -p” command

Issue

In the following conditions, a “Permission denied” error is reported during the copy file from the NFS client by NFS server.

  • Copy file with "-p" option

Note: Please see here to check what is the "-p" option meaning.

  • Copy file to a volume or qtree which security style is "Mixed" and Effective style is "NTFS" (Mixed/NTFS)
  • Copy file to the different file name.

For example:

user1@xxxxxxx[/xxxx/xxxxxx/tmp/xx_share/directory1]>cp -p test.txt mytest
cp: Mytest: Permission denied
