Issue

  • After an upgrade to Element 12.5 or 12.7 a cluster fault is triggered:

        hardwareConfigMismatch MEMORY_GB should be >= 256 but is 240

  • In the System Health Event Log (SEL ) an event is reported as  

Failing DIMM: DIMM location (Correctable memory component found) (P2-DIMMF1) - Assertion

  • From the BMC GUI, hardware information shows the DIMM with half capacity

  • During node boot phase it reports as

Failing DIMM: DIMM location (Correctable memory component found) P2-DIMMF1
