Issue

  • The following is reported in the Active IQ Error Log or Element UI Alerts: The SolidFire Application cannot communicate with node ID X.
  • After attempting to reboot/power cycle the node, it does not boot to Element and the following errors are observed during POST:
    • No boot device available or Operating System detected.
    • Current boot mode is set to BIOS
    • Please ensure compatible bootable media is available.
    • Use the system setup program to change the boot mode as needed.
