Applies to

  • Element Software
  • Element Management Node (mNode)
  • Element Plugin for vCenter Server (VCP)

Issue

In certain environments, a security check will fail when port 9443 is open on the mNode.

Port 9443 is used to register VCP.  Once VCP is registered in vCenter (or if VCP is not going to be used), it's safe to disable port 9443.
