Applies to

  • ONTAP 9.6 and later
  • SVM DR with FabricPool aggregates

Issue

  • When tried to initialize the SVM DR relationship, only some volume level relations are created
  • Couple of volumes are not replicated to the DR site
  • Last Transfer Error in a result of snapmirror show command displays error

Failed to apply the source Vserver configuration. Reason: No eligible aggregate to place the volume. Make sure that a non-root, non-taken-over, non-snaplock aggregate with enough free space exists at the destination cluster. If aggr-list is configured for the Vserver make sure that an eligible aggregate is present in that list. Verify that the number of volumes is less than the supported maximum on the nodes in the destination cluster.

Execute "snapmirror show -destination-vserver svm-dr-og1 -fields last-transfer-error,unhealthy-reason -expand" to check if the constituent volumes have encountered errors.

  • EMS event vsdr.vol.nospaceinfabricpoolaggregate:error is detected on the destination
