Answer

  • Qtrees are special directories that allow the application of quotas for NAS file system.
  • ONTAP allows creation of qtrees, and qtrees exists inside the volumes.
  • In Cluster Mode, SnapMirror does not allow replication of individual qtrees or qtree-level replication.
  • Only Volumes can be replicated with SnapMirror.
  • XCP or ndmpcopy can be used for qtree level Backup.
