SnapDrive for Linux cannot manage file systems on VMware RDMs with VSC 7.0 or higher

  • SnapDrive for Unix (SDU) 5.3.x on Linux
  • Virtual Storage Console (VSC) 7.0 and higher

Issue

SDU on Linux can no longer connect or disconnect LUN as RDMs from within the VM after upgrading VSC to 7.0 or higher.

This results in the following error message:

Error Number - 0003-013: Command error - connection error ocured with virtual interface server.
Please, check if virtual server is up and running
